Your trust matters. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.

1. Who We Are

WOLIN is operated by Kamas-Wolin Media. When this policy refers to "we," "us," or "our," it means Kamas-Wolin Media.

2. Data We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive:

Your email address
Your display name (if provided by the auth provider)
A unique account identifier

We do not receive or store your password from either provider.

Reading History

We store records of every reading you request, including:

The type of reading (fortune, yes/no, love compatibility)
Your submitted question or names
WOLIN's response
Timestamps and the venue/location where the reading occurred

Chat Messages

When you use "Talk to WOLIN," we temporarily store:

Your messages and WOLIN's replies within a session
Session metadata (start time, message count)

Payment Information

Payment details (card numbers, billing addresses) are collected and processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We retain only a transaction reference and subscription status.

3. How We Use Your Data

Personalization — Your reading history and preferences let WOLIN tailor its responses to you.
Subscription Management — Your email and account ID are used to manage your subscription status and billing.
Service Delivery — Chat messages are sent to our AI provider to generate responses in real time.
Venue Passport — Location data powers WOLIN Passport feature, tracking which venues you have visited.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third parties to operate WOLIN:

Stripe

Handles all payment processing for one-time readings and subscriptions. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.

Google & Apple (Authentication)

Used for sign-in only. We receive a limited profile (email and display name) through their OAuth flows. We do not access your contacts, files, or any other account data.

Anthropic (AI)

Powers WOLIN's readings and chat responses. Your questions and chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's usage policies apply to data processed through their services.

5. Data Retention

Reading history is stored indefinitely so you can revisit past readings and maintain your WOLIN Passport.
Chat sessions expire and are deleted after the session ends. We do not retain long-term chat logs.
Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. You may request deletion at any time.
Payment records are retained as required for financial and legal compliance.

6. Your Rights

You may request at any time to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your account and associated data
Export your reading history

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit. Account credentials are managed by Google and Apple — we never store passwords. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice within the app. The "Effective" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
